The Epson 9600 & Fade-Resistant UltraChrome™ Inks
The Epson 9600 has been designed in collaboration with top photographers and
printmakers. The professional level Epson 9600 incorporates technologies that
have never before been available to printing professionals, including advances in
ink, print head and engine design.
Epson UltraChrome™ Inks produce prints with a stunning range of colors, as well
as great-looking black and white images. Taking full advantage of Epson
UltraChrome™ Ink technology, Epson engineered a brand new Micro Piezo
DX3™ print head able to produce images of 2,880 x 1,440 dpi.
Lightfastness of color UltraChrome™ prints made on the Epson Stylus Pro 9600
is rated up to 82 years under glass; lightfastness of black and white prints is
rated at more than 100 years under glass.
